I have noticed that over the course of developing a relationship with real estate owners, you’ll be able to come to understand that, in most real estate contract, a fee is paid. Ultimately, FSBO sellers don’t “save” the commission. Rather, they try to earn the commission by way of doing the agent’s work. In accomplishing this, they spend their money and time to execute, as best they are able to, the duties of an real estate agent. Those tasks include uncovering the home through marketing, representing the home to buyers, constructing a sense of buyer emergency in order to induce an offer, organizing home inspections, controlling qualification check ups with the loan company, supervising repairs, and aiding the closing of the deal.
